Intelligent production line recognised for advancing ultra-high viscosity adhesive colour matching and production automation
Shanghai, China, 5 June 2026 – IM GROUP's Easypaint NEXT has won the 2026 Ringier Technological Innovation Award in the Paint Production and Testing Equipment category.
Easypaint NEXT is an intelligent, automated production line designed for ultra-high viscosity adhesive colour-matching applications. By combining advanced sensing technologies with intelligent algorithms, the system ensures precise proportioning and stable mixing, helping manufacturers overcome challenges such as uneven colour and significant deviations commonly associated with high-viscosity materials.
Supporting customised colour formulations, Easypaint NEXT helps ensure consistent batch quality while improving production efficiency, reducing labour costs, and minimising material waste.

Key capabilities include:
- Precise proportioning of materials
- Stable mixing performance
- Improved colour consistency
- Support for customised colour formulations
- Consistent batch quality
- Improved production efficiency
- Reduced labour costs
- Reduced material waste
By addressing long-standing challenges in the processing of high-viscosity materials, Easypaint NEXT supports manufacturers in achieving greater consistency and reliability throughout production.

Industry recognition at a leading global event
The award was presented during the annual ceremony organised by Ringier Industrial Media in May 2026 and held concurrently with the China Coatings and Ink Convention 2026.
The Ringier Technological Innovation Award, organised by Ringier AG, is one of the most established recognition platforms in the coatings and industrial manufacturing sectors.
The 2026 edition brought together leading enterprises from the domestic and international coatings industry, including PPG, BASF, Sherwin-Williams, Nippon Paint, Allnex, Dow, Wanhua, Covestro, Evonik, Cabot, Arxada and others.
A total of 102 innovative products and technologies were submitted across eight categories, including innovative application coatings, emulsions, resins, pigments, additives and solvents, coating equipment and environmental protection equipment, coating production and testing equipment, and AI-assisted systems.
